Current favourite Dutch word: de tentoonstelling - exhibition. Last week’s favourite word was knoflookteen - garlic clove.
Thinking about: The week ahead. This week we have three things on in the evenings. Tonight, birthday dinner. Tomorrow night, dinner with librarians. Thursday night, een tentoonstelling van mijn vriendin (a friend’s exhibition). And I have four new staff members starting today.
Currently reading: Voices by Arnaldur Indridason. Verdict: uncertain. I may have found a new favourite Icelandic author (as in Henning Mankell is my favourite Swedish crime fiction author).
