Happily ever after

Before the Arrival of the Black Pug, I am sure I had Big Plans for this long weekend, but they all got thrown out the window somewhere along the way. I’m sure the Plans included the writing of numerous blog posts to tide me over for the week as well. Ah well.

Yesterday, the day after he was reunited with his pug, Rumba’s human knocked on our door with a couple of bottles of wine, to say thank you.

Thank you wines

A very nice gesture on his part.

Earlier that morning, while taking Paco and Peppi for a walk, we spotted the following sign on a lamp post.

Lost Dog

Apparently he’s partially blind, deaf in one ear and is on meds for epilepsy. Blind! Deaf! Epilepsy! We’re glad Rumba’s back with his human! (Note the tea cosy on the puppy Rumba’s head. Definitely loved!)

The desperation in that poster makes me want to cry – I’m so glad his owner got him back.

Well, that is something new to me, I had no idea dogs had epilepsy, or medication for it. He was in very good hands though.

I am very glad too. I am so glad that the pizza attracted Rumba to M. If he has bad eyesight and hearing he could have been hit by a car!
