I’ve been listening to REM all month.
That concert in Nice was The Best REM concert I have attended.
I thought the Burswood dome was better performance wise. Stipey was a lot more enthusiastic in that performance, we even got to see him with his shirt off!
Venue wise though, Nice was much nicer.
For me it was a combination of the venue and Stipe and the rest of the band. And what, would Stipe taking his shirt off sway me in some way?
