Dear Ruminations,

I hope you don't mind my writing to you - partiuclarly as I'm using your comments link to contact you. I'm working for a BBC radio programme and I'm looking for fans of "Ake: The Years of Childhood" by Wole Soyinka. A web search brought me to a comment on your blog.

We're soon recording a programme with Wole Soyinka, in which a studio audience and booklovers around the world will be able to ask the author questions about his book. I wondered if there's anything you could ask Wole Soyinka about "Ake: The Years of Childhood"? If so, please email me your question to me: gary.stevens@bbc.co.uk, and our presenter will put the question to him on your behalf.

The interview with Wole Soyinka is in a BBC World Service series called: "World Book Club". You can find information about the programme on our website: www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/programmes/world_book_club.shtml

Thanks very much indeed. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes,

gary

* * * * *

Gary Stevens

World Book Club

BBC World Service
