I'm loving the spring weather here!

Must take some photos of the plum blossoms. They make me smile.

Thank you Iris :) Same here, I think. Bpth seasons just hold so much promise!

Marcus I started thinking about this past winter again after reading your comments, and came to the conclusion that it's definitely been a dry winter because I only used the clothes drying rack thingy a couple of times this year - instead of every weekend... Get well soon! This is the second winter I've avoided being sick. (I was sick in March, instead, though.)

Thanks Isaak! I hope it's cool and clear while you're here, too. Spring can be really changeable... Summer in Perth is completely different to Singaporean weather, I reckon. The hot dry heat is something to experience. But yeh I agree about the flies :(

Oh, thanks, Infoaddict! Definitely worth a closer look. And I love your description: spoinggggg!!! Indeed! :)

When doing some other research last year, I came across this damn-excellent Bureau of Meterology page on Australian Aboriginal seasons: http://www.bom.gov.au/iwk/climate_culture/Indig_seasons.shtml

Follow the link to the Aboriginal Art Online page, and that goes into more - and really fascinating - detail.

Mind you, I am currently in Canberra and this is definitely spring, what with the daffy-down-dillies and fruit trees going "spoinggggg" and whathaveyou :)

Happy Springtime!

Haven't visited Perth in Spring before and am looking forward to my trip there in a couple of weeks' time. Hopefully, it'll be cool and clear weather while I'm there. :)

I really can't stand the summer in Perth even though I live in Singapore (where it's summer all through the year). It's really too hot and the flies are everywhere.

Well, looking forward to experiencing Spring. And meeting up with you. :)

It has been a dry winter because I don't remember many wet and stormy days.

As for Spring, I know it's here by virtue of me getting sick. Changes of seasons do that to me. :P

Happy Spring! Spring is my favorite season of the year, followed closely by fall. These are the times of the year when morning sunshine holds so much possibility, and evening twilight is so soothing.
