Hi Anna, I seldom get Mondayitis, thankfully.. it's awful with Early Onset Fridayitis though.. Wednesday or Thursday variety makes the week seem so long. Obvious symptom of needing a holiday or a break from work. Other symptom is losing the ability to type, and fingers tripping themselves up so that you send an email before you finish with it - most embarrassing!

We do have Mutual Personal Leave Days too - we call them Let's Go Out and Have Breakfast and Watch the Workers Trudge to Work days ;) I LOVE going out for breakfast on a weekday in my comfy slop around clothes, with a trashy novel and M for company, having a huge cooked breakfast and making a pot of tea last for three hours or so... Haven't had any of these in weeks!

Cherry, next time the Boss pounces I will see if he gets it if I tell him to 'talk to the hand' :D

As professional as we all like to claim we are, sometimes it's just not possible. I, too, have been known to do the 'talk to the hand' gesture at times... because when i'm stressed i just want them to step back... back some more... a leeetle bit more.... ahhhh. That's better. Hang in there.

Oh no, Anna, Monday is ALWAYS worse than Tuesday. I don't care what anyone says. At least Tuesday is close to the hump, Wednesday, and once i'm over the hump, i'm almost okay. ;)

Sometimes I get Tuesdayitis - similar to Mondayitis but worse, because it's actually Tuesday, but you still feel like the weekend to come is just as far away as it was the day before (am I making sense?)

Do you and M ever take what's called in our household "Mutual Personal Leave Days"? I am waiting for Spoony to start his new job next so we can do this.
